Youth Agriculture Seminar at 3i Show to Explore Careers in Ag/Technology

Exploring agricultural careers is the focus of the Youth Agriculture Careers and Technology Seminar to be held during the 54th annual 3i Show May 8-10 at the Great Bend Expo Complex. The seminar is set for 9 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 8, beginning with registration and concluding with a complimentary lunch. 

Agricultural industry experts will discuss careers and technology involving crop protection application, feedyard operation, precision agriculture and agricultural equipment development. High school students and their parents, ag teachers, school counselors and extension agents are invited.

Scheduled to speak are Jon Nickless of Great Bend Feeding/Innovative Livestock Feeding, Chad Hauk of Golden Valley Cooperative, Patrick Haberman of Great Plains/Land Pride and Dennis Burgardt of Straub International.
