Barton Offers Introduction to Microsoft Word

Barton County Community College will offer “A Way With Word,” a basic introduction to computers and Microsoft Word. The class will meet from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, April 9 through May 7, at the Great Bend Workforce Center, 1025 Main.

Kay Boyd is the instructor. Participants will learn how to create, save, edit, manage, merge and print Word documents. Formatting, special features and manipulating text within a document will be included in the class. In addition, participants will learn how to print labels and envelopes.

Pre-registration is required. The fee is $18 for Silver Cougar Club members. For all other participants, the fee is $67. The number of students for the class is limited.
