Barton Nursing Graduates Honored in Pinning Ceremony

Barton County Community College honored 33 graduating nurses in a Nurses Pinning Ceremony May 15. In addition, students completing Barton’s practical nursing program received LPN pins and certificates. Participating in the ceremony were Barton’s director of nursing education Linda Gobin, MSN, RN, and Barton President Dr. Carl Heilman.

Barton theatre instructor Amanda Gawith, vocalist, and instrumental music instructor Steven Lueth, pianist, provided music during the ceremony. A reception followed the ceremony in the Student Union.

The nursing graduates received their associate’s degrees in the college’s 38th commencement ceremony that evening. Barton’s 2008 nursing graduates are listed by hometown below, followed by the list of students completing their practical nursing certificates.
