Barton Students Earn Recognition in Juried Art Exhibition at Shafer Gallery
The Barton County Community College Student Juried Art Exhibition opened April 20 with a reception honoring the artists in the college’s Shafer Gallery. The exhibit will continue through May 4.
The art work was divided into two divisions this year – one for degree-seeking students, the other for students not seeking a degree in art. Juror for the show was Linda Ganstrom, professor of art at Fort Hays State University, who is a former Barton art instructor.
