Dudek and Students Exhibit Work in Prairie Art Exhibition at Sterling

Steve Dudek received a second place award in the 34th Annual Prairie Art Exhibition at the Sterling College Art Gallery, for one of his watercolors titled “Fish Jars.” He also is exhibiting two additional paintings including one from a sports action photograph.

Also included in the show are several Barton County Community College students: Karen Shaner of Great Bend, three watercolor paintings; Rose Dudek, two digital photos; Esther Mayer, two watercolor paintings; and Sara Farmer of Claflin, three black and white photographs.

Juror for the exhibition was Nancy Baldrica of Santa Fe, N.M. Sponsored by the Rice County Arts Council, the Prairie Arts Exhibition will continue through April 20.
