Barton Schedules College Advantage Enrollment for Fall 2008

Barton Community College is announcing enrollment times for College Advantage courses for the fall 2008 semester. College Advantage classes give motivated high school juniors, seniors and gifted students an opportunity to show their commitment to earning a college degree and their ability to handle college course work.

Following is Barton’s College Advantage enrollment schedule for fall 2008:

Chase High School: enrollment date and time to be announced.

Claflin High School: 8 a.m.-noon, Tuesday, Aug. 5.

Ellinwood High School: 6:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 11, high school/community library.

Ellsworth High School: 8 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 7.

Great Bend High School: Tuesday, Aug. 5 – seniors, 8 a.m.-noon; juniors, 1-4 p.m.; Wednesday, Aug. 6 – gifted students, 8 a.m.-noon; new students, 1-4 p.m.

Hays High School: 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 4 and 5.

Hoisington High School: 7:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 1, Hoisington Activity Center.

La Crosse High School: 8 a.m.-noon, Monday, Aug. 4.

Lucas-Luray High School: 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 5.

Lyons High School: 1-3 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 13.

Otis-Bison High School: 8 a.m., Monday, Aug. 18.

Pawnee Heights High School: 8 a.m., Monday, Aug. 25.

Quivira Heights High School: 1-3 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 6.

Russell High School: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 5.

St. John High School: 11:15 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 19.

Victoria High School: during high school senior enrollment, Tuesday, Aug. 5.

Wilson High School: 9 a.m.-noon, Wednesday, Aug. 6.
