Students Receive Citizenship in Ceremony at Century II

Students from the June 2007 Citizenship Classes at Barton County Community College’s Center for Adult Education received their citizenship in a naturalization ceremony May 2 at Century II in Wichita.
New citizens pictured following the ceremony include, left to right, Damaris Rivas, Susana Urbina, Raymundo Olivas, Norma Vasquez, Maria Garcia, Guille Montes. Also pictured, at right, are Barton ESL instructor Doris Reile-Kneller and her husband, Roger Kneller. Not pictured was Oscar Urbina.
A total of 12 students from Barton’s Center for Adult Education have completed the citizenship process this year. Others are awaiting the next naturalization ceremony in July.
