BCCC Foundation Names New Members, Elects Officers

The Barton County Community College Foundation Board of Directors welcomed six new members at its board meeting June 1. In addition, the Board elected new officers for the 2005-06 academic year. The new members assumed their positions on the Board July 1.

Elected for three-year terms, the new board members are Chris Ringwald, Ellinwood, and Robin Fabricius, Angie Fry, Sharon Mauler, Eric Walter and Robert Rugan, all of Great Bend.

Rob Dove will serve as Board chair for 2005-2006. Other officers include Megan Murphy, Nancy Peschka and Fry. All Board officers live in Great Bend.

Remaining Foundation Board members are: Gregg Fischer, Mike Nicholson, Dan Bonine, Molly Hildebrand and Carol Hopkins, all of Great Bend. Barton Interim President Steve Maier and College Board Chairman J.B. Webster also serve as ex-officio members.

Chartered in 1967, the BCCC Foundation is the official fund-raising branch of the College. As a non-profit corporation, the foundation exists to produce private support for enhancing the quality of the college’s service to the community.
