Bank of the West Donates Barton Sign on East 10th Street

Bank of the West, Great Bend, is sponsoring a new Barton County Community College sign that appears on a billboard on east 10th Street. Last December, Bank of the West acquired Commercial Federal Bank, which sponsored the previous Barton sign in the same location.

“I’ve been a part of this community for three years and was here with Community Federal,” said Bank of the West Assistant Vice President Brett Middleton. “Our bank has always supported the College in the past and we wanted to continue that support for the College and the community. I think the sign is placed in a great location for people to see as they are driving into Great Bend on east 10th Street.”

The signage was hung by Luminous Neon Inc. Art & Sign Systems, Hutchinson. Bank of the West has contracted to maintain the sign for the next three years.

“Brett and Bank of the West have graciously supported the College with sponsoring the billboard,” said Barton Director of Marketing Todd Moore. “We are grateful for this support, which enables Barton’s continued exposure to more than 8,000 travelers per day from this one location.”
